Ella Henderson Leaves X Factor As She Loses Sing-Off To James Arthur
Ella Henderson and James Arthur went head-to-head in tonight’s X Factor live sing-off. The pair received the lowest number of votes, whilst Rylan Clarke and Christopher Maloney joined Jahmene and Union J through to next weeks round!
It came as surprise to most as Ella and James are the two favourites, with Rylan being the favourite to go this week.
Ella sung a version of Daniel Bedingfield’s ‘If You’re Not The One’, while James performed Alicia Keys’ ‘Fallin’. Nicole introduced James as:
“One of the greatest artists and talents to grace the stage. This is James effing Arthur.”
When it went to the judge’s decision, Tulisa saved her own act Ella, Nicole also chose her own act James, whilst Gary opted for James Arthur and Louis then chose Ella, leaving the decision to deadlock and the lowest public votes.
Ella received the lowest number and was voted off. Tulisa was outraged and cuddled Ella on stage saying: “It is ridiculous. It’s ridiculous.’
Former X Factor star Leona Lewis tweeted:
No way should Ella and James be singing against eachother!
